CONTENT CREATORS WANT YOU

As a content creator with collectively over 2.5M followers, I know how important it is to make content on multiple platforms.

You have YouTube, longer form content - a 7/10 on the enticing scale

You have Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, always grabbing my attention - a 9/10

And you have TikTok, the holy grail and arguably the most addicting app to ever be created -  a 1000/10

I say this because influencers already know how many people are on these apps and how valuable it is to push content to multiple platforms but many don't have the time, can't find someone, or are just too lazy to do it.

That's where you come in. The grinder who's willing to learn a little iMovie, chop up some clips and make money doing it! 👊

HOW TO GET STARTED:

1.  Find a worthy influencer

I guarantee a lot of content creators out there are looking for someone to repurpose their content. All you need to do is get in their inbox. 

I've been creating content for over 2 years and to this day I haven't gotten one email from someone showing me an example of how they cut up my YouTube videos and put them into nice short form clips for TikTok because if I had, they'd be hired!

So when you're choosing who to reach out to, obviously, I wouldn't reach out to only big timers like Cody Ko because:

1. They're more likely to not respond because they're already big and well-off, not as hungry for growth

2. They'll probably take a long time, if they ever get back to you, because of loaded inboxes

Start smaller, try a YouTuber you notice doesn't have a presence on TikTok or Reels or Shorts. They're probably the best ones to go for because you'll be providing them the most value.

2.  Learn a little iMovie

Why iMovie? Well for one it's free, and two, my 4 year old cousin could do it. No really, iMovie has a recommended age usage of 4+ on the app store 😆

All you have to do is drag and drop 👀

Plus, there's tons of tutorials online you can learn from. There's no reason to buy a premium editing software until you get good and start making money. 

Stick to the basics. Get your customers and build your skills as you go.

3.  Reach out

Find the creator's business email - it's usually in their Insta or TikTok bio. 

Write an email - and don't just say what you can do. Talk is cheap. Show them what you can do! Take an interesting part of one of their YouTube videos, cut it up, and include it.

They're way more likely to respond when you put in the effort upfront and show proof of concept. Trust me, this goes a long way.

Body: Hi [Name],

I took your YouTube video and broke it up into interesting clips for TikTok. Take a look! [insert clip]

If you liked that clip, awesome! I want to help you grow your TikTok audience and would love to work with you. Here's my number: 123-456-7890. Feel free to reach out!

If they like the clip, they'll respond...that was easy! 

DOWN THE LINE

If you land this gig, not only would you be making money, but you'd also be working with influencers who have connections with big brands. So if you ever wanted to start doing your own thing. A brand deal could only be a phone call away.

Not to mention you'll probably be working with like-minded individuals.

And who knows, maybe this gets bigger than just you. Work picks up and you suddenly  have too many clients to handle. You hire someone and then my friend, you just started an agency.

A business that can literally make you 7 figures. Now that's a lot of zero's 🤑
